Summar West, a learning specialist in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) has compiled some very important suggestions for developing your writing identity in this video. (7 minutes).
Summar West serves as a Learning Specialist in the Academic Resource Center where she works to help ensure the academic success of all students. Prior to joining Connecticut College, Summar worked in higher education settings as a faculty member and as an administrator for over a decade. She earned an M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work as a poet has also been featured in various literary journals, including Appalachian Heritage, Appalachian Journal, New South, Prairie Schooner, and Tar River Poetry.
